Open House Displaying Media CenterNew
Instructional Media Center
A Media Center for faculty is now
available to faculty in the Center for Instructional Technology. This center
includes three computers (one PC and two Macintosh's), a scanner, color
printer, sound system, and a video duplication rack. Faculty can create
video clips in Movie Maker and import into their PowerPoint, compress their
PowerPoint presentations for the web or ANGEL, and digitally edit photos.
These are only a few of the things faculty can do at the center. The CIT staff
are available to assist faculty in getting started on projects and answer any
questions. Resource handbooks are also available to check out or refer to while
using the Media Center. The book gives you step by step instructions on how to
use different software and equipment. If you would like to use the
Media Center or book a training session with the CIT, please call extension
248-1468 or submit a Multimedia
Request Form.
CIT hosted an Open House for
faculty to view the new Media Center on January 23rd, 2006 at 11:30 p.m. If you
missed the Open House and would like to see the Media Center, please come visit
us in the Center for Instructional Technology.

Ruth Reynard,
Director of Instructional Development and
Prilla Spear, Reference and
Information Literacy Services Librarian,
